Who is Union Rescue Mission Wichita?
Union Rescue Mission Wichita has been serving men in crisis for over 75 years — since 1950. We believe every man, regardless of his past, has dignity and deserves a chance to rebuild his life. Rooted in the love of Christ, URM provides emergency shelter, meals, recovery programs, and re-engagement support to men experiencing homelessness, addiction, and poverty in the Wichita community.
We are more than a homeless shelter. We are a place where salvation happens, lives are transformed, and men find lasting hope through the power of the Gospel.
URM does not charge guests for its services. We are funded entirely by the generosity of individuals, churches, and businesses in our community.
What services does Union Rescue Mission Wichita offer?
URM provides a full continuum of care for men in need, including emergency shelter, hot meals, clean clothing, Bible study, recovery and life change programs, job preparation, educational programs, and minor medical assistance. Our goal is to walk with each man from rescue all the way through restoration and re-engagement.

How is URM Wichita funded?
URM Wichita is funded entirely through the generous support of individuals, local churches, and businesses. We do not accept government funding, which allows us to remain fully Christ-centered in everything we do. Every dollar given goes directly toward serving men in our community.
