Bring Our Story To Your Community
Union Rescue Mission Wichita’s Speakers Bureau connects your church, school, civic group, or organization with men and women who carry the mission’s story firsthand. Our representatives share the real impact of life transformation, covering topics like homelessness, addiction, poverty, and the power of Christ-centered restoration. Whether you need a 12-minute overview or a longer, customized presentation, we’ll meet your group where it is. Our speakers can cover a wide range of topics tailored to your group’s needs, including homelessness, addiction, and poverty; how URM collaborates with community partners; what makes our life-change programs distinct from other homeless agencies; and volunteer opportunities for individuals, churches, and organizations. For middle and high school audiences, our representatives also speak directly to how drug and alcohol use can lead to a life of poverty and homelessness. Presentations can be customized from a 12-minute overview to a full 20–30 minute session, and we’re available for volunteer fairs, missions fairs, and other community events.
